River City RC (rivercityrc.org) is the sole owner of the information collected on the website, http://rivercityrc.org. River City RC does not require information from our users. Users who wish to become members and receive our mailers are asked for an email address and name only. For those without email or access to the Internet, a mailing address must be provided in order to receive our newsletter. WE DO NOT SHARE ANY INFORMATION WITH ANY THIRD PARTIES!!! ALL INFORMATION IS HELD STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL!!!
Registration
We currently do require that users register before posting to the River City RC Forum. This is prevent guests or casual visitors from flaming, or posting inappropriate content. All that is required to register is to create a username, password, and have a VERIFIABLE email address.
Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users’ personally identifiable information. This can usually be done by emailing our Customer Support at admin@rivercityrc.org or contact us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed at the bottom of this page. WE DO NOT SHARE ANY INFORMATION WITH ANY THIRD PARTIES!!! ALL INFORMATION IS HELD STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL!!!
Information Use
WE DO NOT SHARE ANY INFORMATION WITH ANY THIRD PARTIES!!! ALL INFORMATION IS HELD STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL!!! Any information gathered is solely by submission of the viewer and is used to contact the viewer at the viewer’s discretion. This means NO SPAM from this site! Any person/organization may, at any time, ask to be removed from any and all private mailing lists and/or any other place where any information may be stored. All requests will be honored immediately after receiving said notification! The requestor will receive confirmation of removal unless otherwise requested.
Profile
We store no information in any way that may constitute a profile. We do not collect any such data unless it is voluntarily submitted.
Cookies
Our site does use cookies to prevent people from voting multiple times on polls and for remembering login for the Forum. These cookies are strictly for site navigation and NOT FOR ANY OTHER REASON. Any user with cookies disabled can still navigate and participate in all website activities; however they may be repeatedly prompted for a username and password as they enter and exit password protected pages.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes the number of visitors to our site and are server based. No personal identifying information can be determined by our methods.
Communications from the Site

Service Announcements
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. These communications are not promotional in nature.
Customer Service
We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the user’s wishes.
Choice/Opt-out from Site/Club communications
Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by emailing us at admin@rivercityrc.org. The user may also contact us by PHONE or POSTAL MAIL to opt-out.
Sharing

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.
Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable information)
We do not share aggregated demographic information with any other organization. Such information is strictly for the webmaster's use to create a website geared toward members or frequent visitors.
Third Party Advertisers
We employ no third party advertisers at this time. All work is done on a volunteer basis and is privately funded! While there may be banner ads or buttons/links to other sites, we receive absolutely no credit or income for these items - they are strictly promotional! We encourage linking with other sites to provide you, the viewer, the best possible exposure to r/c hobby and its vast collective of knowledge.

This Web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we, River City RC, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site (http://rivercityrc.org).
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
